FAQs

Where are you located?

We are in Clackamas across from Kaiser Hospital and near the Clackmas Transit Station.

How long will my sessions be?

Sessions are typically scheduled to last 45-50 minutes but can last up to 90 minutes depending on service requested and flow of session.

Family sessions may last up to 90 minutes. Sometimes your session may feel a little difficult and end early. If a session ends early, payment is still expected.

How often should I come in for treatment?

This varies for every client. I typically recommend clients start by coming once a week for the 3 weeks while we work on our rapport building. This allows an appropriate amount of time to assess symptom presentation and suggest an appropriate attendance schedule. This could be once a week, twice a week, twice a month, once a month. It all depends on the needs of client and family.

What if my therapist is not a good fit for me?

That’s okay. The therapeutic relationship is the means by which the therapist and client engage with each other in order to effect positive change for the client or family. Like any relationship, it may not always feel like a good fit. I suggest engaging in three sessions to build a rapport and encourage an open dialogue for us to discuss your experience, comfort, or areas that may be feeling difficult in the relationship in order to find a resolution works for you. In some cases you may wish to stop therapy, in which case I can aid in providing additional resources that meet your needs.

Do you offer Telehealth & Video Therapy Sessions?
